One file, with sound
Streams that arrive in hundreds of pieces (HLS and DASH), or with picture and sound split apart, are joined into a single MP4.

The quality you choose
Every resolution the site offers is listed, with a preview when you hover the thumbnail.

Just the audio
Save the sound as MP3 at 320, 192 or 128 kbps, converted on your computer.

Only the part you need
Set a start and end time and Ori saves just that clip. For streamed videos, only that part is downloaded.

Subtitles too
When a video has captions, download them as SRT or VTT, trimmed to match your clip.

Files with real names
Downloads are named after the post and its author instead of the website, and you can rename them before saving.
How to use it
Ori is launching on the Chrome Web Store. Once it's there, it takes three clicks.
Play the video
Open the page and start the video. The Ori icon shows how many videos it found.
Open Ori
Click the icon in your toolbar to see each video with its thumbnail, length and formats.
Pick and save
Choose MP4 or MP3 and the quality, then download. The file lands in your Downloads folder.
Your browsing stays yours.
Ori has no servers and no analytics. It spots videos by looking at what the page loads, reads the post's caption only to name your file, and fetches the video straight from the website. Nothing is sent to us.

- Videos protected with DRM and live broadcasts can't be saved.
- Some websites are not supported, in line with Chrome Web Store policy.
- Keep the download tab Ori opens until your file is finished.
- Only download videos you have the right to save.
